The lone clerk working this night shift did not recognize or even feel the presence of the thief since he was busy cleaning another far area of the store and the suspect moved very swiftly and quietly in the store. However, he finally realizes the thief and sees him stealing the money from behind the checkout counter. The outraged clerk immediately came running; he was not going to give up the cash without a fight. The employee who was cleaning another part of a store starts swinging at the thief with his broom. The thief dodges his blows and ducks for cover. The cahier realizes that the thief can escape at any minute now from the store especially since he took everything that he wanted and does not need to stay longer at the store. So the clerk decides to go to the front door of the store and lock it to prevent the robber from escaping the store until the police arrive.

After that the clerk immediately heads to the back of the store to get another broom to use in his fight against the robber. As he goes to get the broom the thief approaches the front door and tries to get out but he finds the doors locked. He uses a nearby pool stick to beat on the door to break it but with no luck. So he drops the pool stick and decides to go after the employee hand to hand. He meets the employee in the back room of the store and the two continue to fight each other for control of the stick. The fight eventually leads them to the front of the store. At one point the thief drops the cash and the two men just stand and stare at each other then the employee runs away to set off the alarm, the robber picks up his cash and tries again to get away. However the door is still locked. So the guy uses his body to bust through the doors and finally break the door frame. The thief got away with a hundred and sixty five dollars. However his identity was captured by the security cameras of the store.
