I had never seen the entire "Matrix" collection before but have to say it's really mesmerizing to watch, especially in Blu-Ray. An excellent value for the price at Amazon.

Well I thought I would repeat what others have said in case someone is still having doubts about it. If you are a fan of the Matrix there's no reason not to buy this one.
Video - 4.9/5 The quality is just great, and it looks impressive and far superior to any other format, period. The only reason I'm not giving it 5/5 is because there are some points where you can notice some insignificant details due to the source material, not the transfer itself.

I have purchased The Matrix since it was on VHS. It is really amazing to see the difference between VHS, DVD and now Blu-ray. The special effects still are fun to watch (especially the vaunted lobby scene). I loved the first movie but is seems that the path was somewhat lost on the last two. The last two films are not bad just seem to take a different path than what was originally projected on the first film. Special effects are over the top as would be expected from the genre. Lots of fun to watch...
